The Kyolic Garlic & Aerobic Fitness Trial
Arterial stiffness is a cardiovascular risk factor, which increases naturally with age. Kyolic garlic has been shown to improve the flexibility of arteries, and slows down blood flow, which may improve oxygen uptake, associated with aerobic fitness.

Yeah Paye completed a Master of Science (Biotechnology) in 2020, followed by a Bachelor of Science (Biomedical Science) in 2016. Yeah is passionate about working as a researcher, and believes that her studies and background have equipped her with the skills required to make a significant contribution to NIIM. Yeah has been working at NIIM for more than three years and has enjoyed developing her research skills and laboratory techniques.
Yeah prides themself on being a diligent, attentive worker and an excellent laboratory Scientist as well as a researcher. In 2020, Yeah was able to work with one of the research assistants to recruit 80 participants within 3 months’ time.
Yeah is currently involved in the Kyolic Aerobic Fitness Study, the CTC test and Viral Activation Testing in the long COVID study.
