About NIIM Research

The NIIM Research Department: Over a Decade of Dedication and Discovery

Founded in 2012, the NIIM Research Department set forth with a singular vision: to rigorously investigate the safety and efficacy of complementary medicines, alongside exploring the horizons of emerging treatments, diagnosis and innovative technologies. In our journey, we have been fortunate to collaborate with an esteemed network of partners. From Charitable Foundations to renowned universities, academic institutions, and other organisations both locally and globally, our collaborations have been the bedrock of our pioneering endeavours.

Our research spectrum is vast, touching upon critical areas like cancer, heart health, cognitive studies, chronic conditions, and the important relationship between the mind and body. We are proud to contribute to global scientific evidence-based best practice. NIIM Research is founded on our core belief that Integrative medicine treatments are pivotal in optimising management of chronic and serious illnesses while being an effective approach for improving general health and wellbeing.

We believe that integrative and holistic health treatments, encompassing natural medicine, not only enhance overall wellbeing but also serve as a strong preventive measure against diseases. This holistic perspective can significantly elevate public health standards. Moreover, complementary or natural medicine may supplement and enhance the benefits of conventional treatments.

NIIM takes pride in its clinical research work. High-calibre research at NIIM is grounded in expert knowledge, cutting edge technology and meticulous methods. This includes effectively disseminating our results via peer-reviewed journals and media outlets. Additionally, we assist with reporting and regulatory submissions in relation to the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) and all research is approved by a Human Research Ethics Committee.

Our track record boasts numerous pioneering research initiatives. With an eye on the horizon, NIIM is clearly the leading hub of ground-breaking research in integrative medicine.
